Situation
On the oil rig South Arne in the Danish North sea, they were experiencing a constant loss of fluids in their CIP Tank (clean in place tank). The fibreglass tank didn’t have the right structural support, resulting in cracks in the joints of walls and floors.
Solution
LINE-X XS350 protective coating was sprayed 2.5mm (1/8 inch) thick onto the fibreglass with tenacious adhesion.
After Application
The industrial coating of LINE-X was completed in 2 hours and back in service soon after with no change in daily operations.
